An early handwritten lyric draft from Drake’s pre-fame mixtape period, believed to date to roughly the Room for Improvement era.

Written across a standard sheet of lined notebook paper, the page captures Drake working through relationship-focused bars in an extremely raw form—crossed-out phrases, revisions, arrows, unfinished thoughts, and lines being reshaped directly on the page. One of the most memorable references comes near the bottom, where he writes about a girl who “doesn’t listen to rap” and instead listens to Jack Johnson whenever she’s in the car.

The lyrics feel very much like early Drake: detailed observations about women, relationships, style, communication, and the contrast between different personalities. You can see ideas being tested rather than simply copied down after the fact, making the sheet feel more like a genuine creative working document than a finished lyric manuscript.

The reverse adds another unusual detail: a small hand-drawn “jacob” design, giving the piece an additional visual element beyond the lyrics themselves.
