Before Comeback Season. Before So Far Gone. Before Drake became one of the biggest artists in the world, there was Room for Improvement.

Released in 2006, Room for Improvement was Drake’s first official mixtape and represents the very beginning of his recording career. The project captures a young artist still developing the sound, writing style, and identity that would eventually define an era of hip-hop and R&B.

This original Room for Improvement CD insert is signed prominently by Drake in black marker and features one of the more interesting details for autograph collectors: his early signature style.

Rather than simply signing his name, Drake also wrote “DRAKE” beneath the autograph — a style associated with the earlier stage of his career.

The insert has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA and is accompanied by the original Room for Improvement CD.
