An original one-of-one 18" x 24" drawing by Kanye West, created during his formative art-school years in the 1990s — long before The College Dropout, Yeezy, or worldwide fame.
This large-format graphite figure study features a curvy female figure in a dramatic, extended pose, surrounded by additional loose gesture studies. Compared with some of Kanye’s more traditional academic sketches from this period, this piece feels especially stylized, exaggerated, and expressive.
It also carries an interesting visual connection to imagery Kanye would revisit decades later — particularly the provocative, body-focused aesthetic associated with The Life of Pablo era.
