On the upper portion, Virgil added his signature-style inscription within a hand-drawn speech bubble, giving the piece an unmistakably personal element on top of an already unconventional design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat makes the piece so representative of Virgil is the idea behind it. Throughout his career, he regularly questioned the distinction between an existing object and a new one—using alteration, quotation, intervention, and reinterpretation as part of the creative process.
